Then, through pre-constructed schedules and notification pathways, MIR3's fully integrated notification solution determines the appropriate server management group, as well as which members of that group are on duty. The notification is then launched automatically in a first-response mode. Members of the group determined to be on-duty receive the notification one at a time until someone claims the ticket. If no one from the on-duty group responds, the notification then escalates and begins to contact those who are listed as on-call until the issue is resolved.

The call-out notification continues to contact all off-duty employees until the necessary work force is assembled.
